Below is a step by step guide of investing in Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund schemes.

 

If you are a first time investor in Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund -

Step 1 Choose the scheme that you wish to invest in.
Step 2 Fill out the application form for purchasing units. You can obtain the form by either downloading it from the website or by contacting a branch office or a CAMS branch office or by requesting our customer care team.
Step 3 Submit it along with a copy of PAN card, address proof and cheque/DD at any of the funds' official points of acceptance centers. Investors investing Rs 50,000 or more in a scheme need to comply with the Know Your Client (KYC) norms.
 

If you are an existing investor in Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund –

Online Purchase - You can choose to invest online with Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. Its extremely convenient and the fastest way to invest. To activate your online account, you will require having your email id registered and have an online banking account from where you would be required to make the investment. To register your email id/update your contact details with us, please visit our CHANGE YOUR COMMUNICATION DETAILS SECTION of the website or please contact our customer care team.

Procedure for Online Purchase additional units

(Buying additional units of same scheme or of a different scheme under the same folio number):

Step 1 Visit the LOGIN SECTION of Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund website
Step 2 Generate your CIP/TPIN - Please enter your folio number and your registered email id. The CIP/TPIN will be generated by email to your registered email id
Step 3 Once you have received your CIP/TPIN, please visit the LOGIN SECTION of Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund website and enter your FOLIO number and your unique CIP/TPIN
Step 4 Using the step by step process, invest in your chosen Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund scheme.
  

Other options to purchase of additional units

(Buying additional units of same scheme or of a different scheme under the same folio number)

Step 1 Fill the 'Additional Purchase Slip' provided along with the account statement. You can also obtain the form by either downloading it from the website or by contacting a branch office or a CAMS branch office or by requesting our customer care department.
Step 2 Submit it at any of the funds' official points of acceptance centers, along with the duly filled cheque. Investors investing Rs 50,000 or more in a scheme need to comply with the Know Your Client (KYC) norms.
